MARLINS FOUNDATION DONATION TO ROTARY FOR POLIO EFFORTS
The Marlins Foundation, via the Miami Foundation, provided a donation to Rotary International District 6990 as part of their commitment to the efforts of the local Rotary Clubs and their participation in Rotary Marlins Game 2016 held this May!
The donation will be utilized with other funds to continue the Rotary Polio Plus Campaign, the campaign of Rotary International and the Rotary Clubs to eliminate Polio from the world, which is the largest humanitarian campaign in history!
“We are very appreciative of the Miami Marlins and the Marlin Foundation for their support again of our efforts to create awareness and provide a donation of our efforts to eradicate Polio from the world,” stated Michael Kesti, Chairman of Rotary Marlins Night. “The Marlins are always willing to assist us year-after-year and we also have a great time at at game at Marlins Park,” Kesti added!
