The South Miami Rotary Art Festival returns for its 33rd year on the weekend of February 20-21, running Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm with extended hours Saturday for jazz and an open jam session in the beer garden. The annual show continues to be one of the most popular and best-attended events in the area.
The festival features 150 exhibits of fine arts and crafts from around the country, multinational food, live music, and much more. Admission is free and there is ample garage and on-street parking in this exciting area filled with historic buildings, trendy restaurants, and unique shops. In addition, there is a free bike valet and dog watering station.
Located across U.S. 1 from the South Miami Metrorail station, the show is held on Sunset Drive (SW 72 Street) between US 1 and Red Road.
The Art Festival is produced entirely by volunteers of the South Miami Rotary Club. All proceeds fund annual college scholarships and service projects. www.southmiamirotaryartfest.org
